Welcome!The Capital District Animal Emergency Clinic (CDAEC) was developed by local veterinarians as a means to provide emergency service and continuous critical care to their patients when their hospitals are closed. CDAEC is viewed as an extension of your primary care veterinarian's practice. The referring veterinarians and hospital staff are dedicated to their patients and appreciate the opportunity to serve their community. CDAEC is an 11,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, well-equipped and well-staffed Level One Trauma Center. The hospital is easily accessible from Troy, Albany and surrounding towns from I-87.
