Our Doctors
Dr Jennifer Rogers Originally from Westchester county, NY. Bachelor of Science at Binghamton university. DVM degree at the University of Georgia in Athens. Internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York, NY. Have worked at the CDAEC since 1999, practicing emergency and critical care exclusively, however have kept refreshed in day practice by working fill in shifts at the local veterinarians in the Capital Region. Most recent excitement is the birth of her baby boy May 8th 2008. Dr Katie Tuffey Graduate from the university of Pennsylvania school of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She went on to her internship in emergency and critical care at Luoisville Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Services in Kentucky. She has continued in the field of emergency and critical care, working at two large 24 hour specialty and emergency hospitals before joining CDAEC in June. Katie lives outside Saratoga with her husband Chris, an equine veterinarian, 2 dogs Evey and Kyah, 3 cats Palmer, Soleus and Tyzzer, 3 horses Pi, Tal and Visionary and a rooster named Henry. Emergency Care is her call. Dedication to pain and suffering is the outmost. Dr Sam Gallo
A 1987 graduate at the Ohio State University, Dr Gallo started at the CDAEC in 1992 after a 5 years in general practice. A 16 year veteran of emergency and Critical Care, Dr Gallo enjoys the unexpectedness of emergency medicine. “Just when you think you’ve seen it all, something new walks the door!” When not working, he loves to cycle, ski/snowboard, cook and play with his 2 pit bulls, Spencer and Dutch. Dr Alisha grew up in New York City and graduated from the business school at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. With Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Changes career and attended NYU to complete her requirements to attend veterinary school. She has been with the CDAEC since July 2007 after completion of her internship at Veterinary referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT. She lives with her fiance Rachael, their 3 dogs and 3 cats. She is always looking for a game of pick-up ice hockey. Dr Carol Pabin Originally from Ohio and received her Bachelors degree from the Ohio State University, followed by her Veterinary degree from Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. After practicing in both Ohio and New Jersey, Dr Pabin relocated to Albany. She joined the staff of the CDAEC in April 2007. She enjoys hiking, swimming and spending time with her family. A graduate of NYS Veterinary College at Cornell in 1977. Internship at Cornell in Large Animal Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics. His professional career has been entirely in Vermont in Stowe, Middlebury, Manchester and Bennington until he joined the CDAEC in 2004. Almost 30 years of experience mixes well with the expet knowledge and training of the new generation of emergency veterinarians. Dr Whitney Pressler
